Mobile & Technical Features
Does invoicEZ work without internet?
Currently, invoicEZ requires an internet connection to create and save invoices. However, we're building offline capabilities for a future update, which will allow you to:
- Create quotes and invoices without internet
- Save work locally until you're back online
- Automatically sync when connection is restored
For now, you can use your phone's mobile data or WiFi hotspot when working on-site.
Can I attach photos to invoices?
Absolutely! Add unlimited photos to every invoice:
- Before and after shots of your work
- Progress photos for larger jobs
- Certificates and documentation (electrical certificates, gas safety certificates)
- Proof of completion for customer records
- Photos and PDF-s are automatically compressed for easy sharing (emails, Whatsapp, iMessage, airDrop, Telegram...)
What devices work with invoicEZ?
invoicEZ is a Progressive Web App (PWA) which works without instalation, but can be installed freely for easier access and functions:
- Any smartphone with a modern web browser
- Any tablet (iPad, Android tablets)
- Desktop/laptop computers for office use
- iPhone and Android - download to your home screen like a native app
Access through your web browser at invoicEZ.co.uk, then "Add to Home Screen" for the full app experience.
Is my data secure?
Yes, we take security seriously:
- Secure cloud storage - your invoices are safe even if your phone breaks
- Bank-level encryption (256-bit SSL) for all transmissions

How long do you store my invoices?
We store your invoices securely for at least 6 years to meet UK legal requirements for business records. You can access, download, or resend any invoice during this period.
Unless you delete your account, in which case all data is permanently removed from our servers.
